How to Delete an Account

If yo wish to no longer have an ICDR account you can delete your account at any time. Follow the below instructions provided below. Note: The Support team is unable to delete an account for you, this is a self-service process.  

For Dancers and Guardians with no Dancers:

1. Profile > Details

2. Select Delete Account

   

3. You will be asked if you are trying to delete your account or if you are looking to switch roles. I you are looking to switch to a different role (i.e. Dacer, Studio Owner/Rep, Event Owner/Rep), you will be taken back to the Profile Details page. 

   

4. Push the Delete My Account

   

5. Provide a Reason for the deletion, or Skip

   

6. Decide on whether you wish to remain on the mailing list

   

7. Type the word Delete and select Confirm Permanent Deletion

For Guardians with Dancers

1. Profile > Details

2. Select Delete Account

   

3. You will be asked if you are trying to delete your account or if you are looking to switch roles. I you are looking to switch to a different role (i.e. Dacer, Studio Owner/Rep, Event Owner/Rep), you will be taken back to the Profile Details page. 

   

4. You will be asked what to do with your associated Dancers. Select either:

   

   1. Delete my Account and Transition Dancers
      • This will keep the Dancer accounts active, and give you an opportunity to transition them to a different Guardian
      • 
      • You will be asked to select a Secondary Guardian from the current list of guardians for a dancer
      • If the dancer has no secondary guardians to transition to you can either:
        1. Cancel the current process and invite a person to become a secondary guardian once complete you can restart this process and transition the guardianship
        2. Continue with the Deletion of your account. The Dancer(s) under your guardianship will remain for 30 days, during which time they can be claimed by another guardian account. After 30 days the Dancer records will be automatically deleted. 
   2. Delete my Account and My Dancers
      • This will remove your account and any associated Dancer Accounts.

5. Provide a Reason for the deletion, or Skip

   

6. Decide on whether you wish to remain on the mailing list

   

7. Type the word Delete and select Confirm Permanent Deletion
